I then reached out to some of the folks who host the cEDH Decklist Database (Sickrobot / Natux) and asked them about the early days of their DDB and how they represented the format, prior to creating the website. He was in the middle of bolstering his own budget cEDH offerings and couldn’t dedicate much time (then) with the assist, so we tabled the discussion for a later time. Timmy, one of the co-owners of Budget Brews, and I have known each other for a few years now and I had approached him about the potential for hosting a cPDH DDB as early as March 2021. Some decks get pushed off the DDB due to power level concerns too, as is often the case with many outdated decks (Like Karador or Daretti, for example. ![]() The DDB isn't the end-all-be-all of cEDH viability, but the managers and review team do have a vision for the resource as it pertains to the included decks' power level. ![]() It is sometimes the case that decks do not appear because of power level concerns. With hundreds of decks submitted each cycle, this takes a lot of time, so the DDB only gets updated every 3-4 months. The way it works is deck authors submit their decklists and our team of reviewers go over all the submissions in order to determine what we want to add. In the case of newer strong commanders, it is typically the case that these decks simply haven't made it on yet but will in due time. There are commanders and strategies that are not listed on it, and this can be for various reasons. DDB Reviewer here, and no, the cEDH Decklist Database is not an exhaustive resource.
